XpoLog Log Analysis for Testing Integration with Atlassian Jira

XpoLog integration with Jira allows both XpoLog and Jira users to accelerate the analysis of problems detected in testing and production

XpoLog log analysis scans and maps application errors generated during testing and production. XpoLog compares logs between environments in order to detect new error events like exceptions, error codes and other new messages. XpoLog helps to optimize application quality by automating log analysis and inspection of errors. Application logs contain critical information for developers, testers and support teams about defects, performance problems and correctness problems. XpoLog collects all required logs and metrics for application teams to investigate, and creates environment snapshots and reports.

Primary integration features are:

-	Create issues in Jira directly from XpoLog, once a user identifies or monitors errors in application logs
-	Create snapshots of information for issues, and embed links in every issue back to XpoLog. Testers, developers or support engineers may click the link in Jira issue to open the relevant information for the issue in XpoLog
-	Universal common platform for applications problems and applications monitoring
-	Accelerate problems analysis and problems isolation across all IT tiers

Integration example:

Step I: Directly from XpoLog Log Viewer, select multiple log events and directly attach them to the ticket/bug

Step II: Enter the ticket's properties that will be sent to JIRA, the selected log events will be attached to the ticket

Step III: A ticket will be created in JIRA with the logs attached. Users will have in addition a link back to XpoLog to automatically view the relevant log events
